Honouring life’s sacred thresholds
Some transitions call for a pause. A gathering. A moment of shared recognition. Whether it’s a funeral, a wedding, a baby naming, or an adoption ceremony; these are sacred thresholds. They ask to be witnessed and honoured with care. Ceremony helps us make meaning, mark change, and feel held in community.
Ceremonies I offer
As an ordained interfaith minister, I offer bespoke, inclusive ceremonies that honour your story, your beliefs, and what matters most to you. I work closely with you to co-create something real and resonant whether joyful or solemn, simple or symbolic, in person or online.
Weddings and partnership ceremonies
Rooted in love, crafted with intention, and fully personalised - whether spiritual, secular, or somewhere in-between.
“From the day you agreed to be part of our wedding ceremony, Jonathan and I knew we would be held and totally supported at every step. Your help planning the ceremony and the way you were able to bring everyone together, into our special place, meant so much to us both. Thank you so very much.”
— Melanie
Funerals and memorials
Meaningful and compassionate spaces to honour a life and say goodbye with depth and tenderness.
“I was a broken with grief when Tania stepped in. She gently held me upright and understood the deep personal testament I wanted to create in honour of my father for his funeral ceremony. Together we crafted a personalised service that not only reflected the love and values of the man, but also took mourners from grief to comfort. I could not have got through the experience without her. I am grateful, happier and lighter because of her support and highly recommend her work and loving support.”
— Natasha
Baby naming/blessing and adoption ceremonies
Celebrating new life, new beginnings, and the profound moment of becoming family.
Rites of passage
From coming of age to midlife, menopause, or elderhood—life is full of moments that deserve to be honoured.
“The register of my heart has transformed from fear and panic towards confidence and love following a ceremony performed by Tania. It is subtle and beautiful work.”
— Julia,
Ceremony guidance and virtual offerings
I can guide you in designing your own ceremony or lead one virtually when gathering in person isn’t possible.
My approach
Every ceremony I create begins with listening. Whether you're saying goodbye, making a lifelong commitment, or marking a personal threshold, I take time to understand what truly matters to you. There’s no fixed script, each ceremony is shaped by your values, beliefs, and personality.
I bring warmth, calm, and creativity to this process. I draw from a wide spiritual and cultural palette, weaving in poetry, symbolic acts, and shared rituals—small gestures that carry big meaning and help root the experience in something tangible and sacred.
I’ve led civic services as Chaplain to the Mayor of Castle Point, held space for intimate family farewells, and supported individuals through deeply personal rites of passage. I bring presence, professionalism, and reverence to every threshold I’m invited to honour.
“Tania has been the Chaplain to the Mayoralty for almost two years and has served brilliantly in this role. She has brought inclusivity and diversity of thought and extraordinary grace, integrity and commitment to the work of the Council and the office of the Mayor. Thank you, Tania.”
— Angela Hutchings, Chief Executive, Castle Point Borough Council
